Job Description:
Working in a transitional living and supportive services program for young adults ages 18-21 years. Responsible for participating in the coordination of daily routines, education and other activities as well as role modeling positive behavior to help clients as they work towards self-sufficiency.

Job Requirements:
Due to the population served, this position requires both male and female mentor staff; preferably an even ratio. Due to current staffing we are recruiting a male mentor staff.

Must be available to work Thursday thru Sunday, evenings and overnight shifts required. 2 years experience working with young adults. Ability to work with and knowledge of challenges unique to young adults who have experienced homelessness, trauma and substance abuse. Ability to utilize a range of interventions to work with clients with varying needs and levels of functioning. Must be able to push, pull or lift 25 lbs. Pass agency paid criminal justice screening including fingerprints, health screening and/or drug testing, if required. Valid California drivers license. Pass agency paid MVR clearance with no more than 2 points. Proof of auto insurance coverage. Our insurance company requires drivers to be a minimum of 25 years old to drive the agency vehicle.
