Memory Verse

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Which verses did God use to speak to you? What did he say?

Read 1 Samuel 18:1-4 and 20:1-17, 30-42.

Which of the qualities of real friends do you see in David and Jonathan’s relationship? Where did you see these qualities?

 

 

In light of their circumstances, how did this friendship probably bring
comfort to both of these men?

 

 

Where has God shown you His comfort and love through a friend?

 

 

 

Wednesday - Begin the day in prayer; meditate on the memory verse.

Read Proverbs 17:9, 17, 18:24, 27:10, 1 Peter 4:8 and 1 John 4:11.
