“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” (Psalm 116:15)

The death of a loved one is never easy. Though it is precious to God when one of his children arrives home to heaven, it is usually painful for us who experience the earthly loss of a loved one who was also precious to us.

This is a time in all of our lives when we need the assistance, support and comfort of God’s family – the church. We can’t make the pain and heartache go away, but we want to be there for you. Our pastoral staff will meet with you and your family to offer comfort and provide guidance. We can assist you in making arrangements and planning for a funeral. We have a wonderful team of lay people who help prepare and serve a meal for the family at a reception following the service for their loved one. We do this as an expression of the love of Christ for those who are part of our Big Valley Grace family, because we want you to know that at a time like this, God cares, and so do we.
