Purpose

Visually grab the eye of everyone coming onto our campus during weekend services. Create the following impression and environment.
•This is God’s special place
•We are a people who are active, alive, friendly and “on the job” for our God!
•We immediately take note of all who come on the property and let them know that we are glad they are here. (Both old and new)
•Give them a smile and a greeting somewhere on their way into their parking spot.
•Help them find the best parking spot quickly
•Smile and greet them as they get out of their car to see if they need any assistance in finding anything and direct them in the right direction or to a person who might be a “runner” to take them to their destination if they are new.
•Protect the “first time visitor spots” for first timers
•Protect and help the handicap to get handicap spots
•Keep an eye on the cars and property while the majority is in the services.
•Greet them on the way out blessing them and wishing them a great day or evening. (At night … walk them to their cars if needed)

Create as awesome first impression every time anyone comes on the campus whether they are first timers or old timers.

Welcome Team Challenge

Level One:
•Commit to a specific service time. (Once, Twice, Three times or every week)
•Commit to attempt to find a replacement to cover your spot if you are unable to meet your commitment.

Level Two:
•Be willing to respond, if available, to unfilled spots when e-mailed notice is received.

Level Three:
•Commit to attempt to bring two or three others onto the Welcome Team.

Level Four:
•Commit to lead a specific service time Welcome Team (Once, Twice, Three times or every week) (Membership is a requirement for Leadership)

Level Five:
•Serve as the Volunteer Leader overseeing all functions for H.I.S. Welcome Team.
