Mobilizing Churches

Growing numbers of people in communities across America have deep needs and are crying out for help. Most of those physical, emotional and spiritual needs are going unmet. The real answers to those real needs are sitting in the pews across this country! The church across America has a giant reservoir of time and talent... we simply need to move out of the pews and connect with the needs in our own neighborhoods! How would you like to be a part of that answer? Advancing Vibrant Communities believes that Christ has called us to love our neighbor in tangible ways like: driving a shut-in or disabled person to a medical appointment; adopting a highly visible street and keeping it clean; reading to children after school; tutoring children; painting out graffiti at the end of the block; taking a meal to a family who has just lost a loved one…the list goes on and on. Get Involved:
Providing transportation to and from medical appointments such as dialysis
Yard care needs for the elderly and disabled
Providing transportation to and from grocery shopping for the elderly, disabled, and single moms.
