Poor and Unreached

LifeWind International

Passionate to see lives transformed physically and spiritually, and whole communities liberated from bondage to poverty into true fullness of life; LifeWind International addresses the root causes of poverty, disease and hopelessness.  Working in rural villages and urban slums, empowering local leaders to address their community’s problems successfully, and bringing hope and life to the world’s poor. There are so many ways for our people to get involved!

Get Involved:
Home Office (right across BVG parking lot) Volunteers: bookkeeping, proofreading, window & building washing and people who can sew & knit Birth Life Saving Kits
Prayer Support: join nearly 400 people who pray for specific needs around the world
Student Internships: looking for students who could serve as videographers, agricultural advisers, researchers and CHE training assistants in places as diverse as Africa and Afghanistan.
Small Groups: LifeWind needs small groups willing to dedicate an evening to participate as pilot for the development of materials LifeWind can use to promote the ministry nationwide.

Partners International

Partners International is working to create and grow communities of Christian witness in partnership with God’s people in the least Christian regions of the world.  The least Christian regions of the world are often characterized by poverty and persecution so our key strategy is holistic witness—caring for the “whole” person. We demonstrate God’s love in word and deed by providing medical care, clean water, education, and other compassionate assistance through local partners. We also strongly support the training and sending of local Christians into unreached areas. Our effectiveness is rooted in the rich relationships we have developed with our partners, relationships based on shared passion, the working out of mutually-agreed goals, and much time spent together. If you are interested in knowing more, contact Phil for he would love to share with you more and how one can get involved.

Get Involved:
• Provide for suggested book sets for our indigenous leader training gatherings
• A short term team responding to needs expressed by one of our indigenous partners

Competitive Edge International

Competitive Edge International reaches out to and connects with people in unreached areas of the world through sports. Assisting long-term workers by providing short-term ministry teams, CEI’s “International Sports Ministry Teams” offer a skill and expertise in sports through clinics and competition to nations desiring to develop sports. CEI’s “First Responders Sports Teams” provide disaster relief therapy through sports and trama counseling. If you have love for sports and even some abilties in these areas, they really could use you help!

Get Involved:
• Know any Fastpitch Softball players, coaches or athletic trainers? Tell them about short-term missions opportunities to serve the Lord through a CEI Int’l Sports Ministry Team.
• We need softball gloves to be given away to countries developing softball
• We need a small team of 3-4 individuals to help with short term teams preparation (i.e. copying Discipleship Notebooks, making Good News Bracelets and gifts, etc.).
• When our First Responders Sports Teams are requested to help with disaster relief, we will need many practical items to bring along with us
