Germany is not only a world leader in the export of cars and technology, but also a lifestyle that has no need for spiritual things. With continued globalization trends, its disproportionate  influence on  world affairs is set to increase – for better or for worse. In accordance with the book of Acts, where influence centers were targeted for church plants, KontaktMission and it’s leaders Rocco and Karoline Panepinto has as one of its main emphasis on reaching and making a difference in Germany. In comparison to the rest of the world, Germany is near the bottom of the list for percentage of Christ-followers and desperately needs new churches which lives out the gospel in a relevant and compassionate way to an intellectual, influential population. The city where our partnership is targeting is Jena, Germany. It is the birthplace of the “God is dead” philosophy and where over 80% profess no belief in a God.  It is vital that the people of this city, among them prominent scientists and researchers, know about Jesus and the difference He can make in their lives. Get Involved:
Pen (or e-mail) pals for our children, so they have good contacts with Christian young people
Interns who have the possibility to study or do pursue scientific research in Europe could do this in Jena and at the same time  be part of a church plant project
Interns with a heart and gifting for work among youth and/or university students, could enroll in a German language course here and while learning the language, also develop fruitful relationships with students.
