Much like local, we desire to see all of us involved in some way or another in our world. We want everyone to think, pray and act globally. We want to mobilize individuals, small group and large communities to intentional compassion opportunities. In order to best do this, we support and team with our Global Partnerships.

Here are practical ways that you can join the BVG community in partnering with organizations and people who are already responding to needs in our world.

Be Informed - Pray
On this page, you see many, many opportunities where you can make a difference being Jesus in our world. Navigate through this page, learn about each need and vision, go to their website and/or learn more about their area in the world and pray for them. Thank God we have these strategic partnerships who are being Jesus in our world where there is a lot of evil and hurt, but also hope through the compassion of Jesus and His followers.

Take Action - Encourage
As you learn about each of these opportunities, ask God to lead you to one that you especially connect with. As you learn and pray about this need and vision, let them know that you care. Send an e-mail, letter or even a care package as you get to know the leader’s needs. When the leaders are back in our area, host them in your small group and in your home. Many of them will need a place to stay and would love a meal or meals to eat. Some will also need a vehicle while here. As you learn about them and their vision, let them know that they have real friends within our BVG community.

Take Action - Go
• As you get to know one of our partnerships, ask God what He would want you to do next. Where do you fit in using the abilities and passion God has given you.
• Talk to the leaders and see if you (and/or friends, family, small group, etc.) could visit and serve with them and their work (short-term trip). Make sure you include one of our pastors in on this discussion for we will want to be the best help that we can be.

Sacrifice - Give
We have been blessed not to keep everything we own and earn to ourselves, but to give it away.
• The first way in which we should give is to our church. We do this every week during our weekly worship gatherings when we give our offerings to the Lord (Malachi 3, 2 Corinthians  8). When you give to our church, we give back into our community and world. We support in a significant way these organizations and people you see on our site. Without your sacrificial giving, they would not be able to lead, help people and get us involved with them. They need us, but we need them if we’re going to make the biggest difference we can in our world.
• The second way we can give is right to the organizations or people we are serving. When you see a need, meet it. Sometimes this kind of giving is not always financial, but in practical ways. May God use you as you meet the needs of those leading our efforts to reach out to the world.

Each one of our church’s large group communities (Children, Single Adults, Primetime, etc.) are adopting one global partnership. If you are a part of one of these communities, talk to one of your leaders on how your group can make the biggest impact with the partnership you are adopting.
