We all have a desire to be known and loved and to live in relationship with others. We all have a desire to be with people who truly care, who will be there and listen when life hurts. It is how we are made. “So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27).
We have been fashioned from a relational model. God is a relational being; He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He has always existed this way, from before time began, and we are made in His image. The blueprints of our make up have relationship at the core. “It is not good for the man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18).
