The Discovery Membership Class meets the First Saturday of most months at 9 a.m. in the Worship Center.
Many people have attended church all their lives, but have never understood or experienced the blessing and responsibility of church membership. At Big Valley Grace, the Discovery Membership Class is the first step to becoming involved in the life of this local church through church membership.
The Scriptures call each of us to participate as joyous members of His body, not to remain as anonymous and disengaged attenders. A commitment of membership to this local body is a way to obey the command given in Hebrews 13:17: “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.”
