We exist to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to be a church helping people discover and use their God-given talents to serve in our church and community.

Every Believer Engaged In Service = Christ’s Image Clearly Revealed

When Christ was on earth, He said and did amazing things that no one had heard or seen before. When He left, He told His followers not to worry. He would send His Holy Spirit, who would not only be with them but would actually live inside them. He promised His followers they would do even greater things than He had done because of the indwelling of His Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” 1 Peter 4:10 says each of us should use the gifts we have to serve others. We are competent to do these good works because of the power of the Spirit of God who lives within us.

Our Serve Vision is to see every follower of Jesus Christ at Big Valley Grace engaged in service and moment by moment find those places of service God planned before the world began. We believe each time this happens, Christ’s image at Big Valley Grace is more clearly revealed. We believe His image will not clearly be revealed until every believer finds his Sweet Spot of Service.
