Grow

We exist to lift up the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to be a church equipping believers to love and grow in obedience to His Word through a variety of classes and ministries.

We believe that humanity, created in the image of God, is designed to be in personal relationship with their Creator. This relationship that God has designed us for is not static, but dynamic. It is not primarily defined by moral codes and religious practices, but by the person of God’s Son, Jesus Christ. It is a relationship of ongoing and growing intimacy with Jesus Christ that is reflected in the life that one leads. It probably is best understood as being a disciple of Jesus. To be a disciple is to be committed to following Jesus in His life and in His teaching, as revealed in the Bible through the Holy Spirit. It means to surrender to His will and allow His life to be manifested in and through your life. It is experiencing “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27) resulting in fruitfulness for His kingdom.

It is our desire to participate in this growing relationship with Jesus and assist others, as well, to discover and experience the fullness of life found in Jesus Christ that bears fruit for His glory.  The ministry of “Grow” is committed to encourage, challenge and equip believers to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to help every Christ follower  experience transformational growth by providing opportunities for learning to listen to and study God’s Word, learning and participating in Christ centered spiritual practices, and engaging in meaningful dialogue with others on the journey of faith.  Our intention, by the power of the Holy Spirit, is to help each believer to grow up into the fullness of Christ Jesus and to become more fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. Our hope is not only to give them spiritual food, but also to equip them to feed themselves spiritually. Ephesians 3:16-19; 1 Timothy 4:15-16
